Do You Want To See More Video Content?

As a coach for over 21 yearsSeptember is the anniversary of launching my business—I've always been passionate about helping people master their presentation and communication skills. That often includes how they deliver content to the camera and market and deliver content using video. Over the years, I've seen the transformative power of effective communication, whether in a boardroom, on a stage, on a webcam, or in a personal conversation.

Today, I want to discuss something a bit different. I've been thinking about reintroducing videos to my newsletter and blog content, something I did for many years, though not so much recently. The truth is, I love making and editing videos (possibly the geek in me), but before diving in, I wanted to hear from you to find out what you want and how my content could help.

Why Consider Video Content?

...it helps you connect with people remotely, on a deeper level.

One of the reasons I'm excited about exploring video again is that it will allow us to connect on another level. While written content is excellent for diving deep and offering detailed information, videos can bring it to life in a way that text sometimes can't.

Catering to Different Learning Styles

We all have unique ways of learning. Some are visual learners, some are auditory, and others might prefer reading or hands-on practice. By incorporating video alongside written content, you can engage in a way that works best for you. Whether it's a quick tip on handling nerves during a presentation, a deep dive into storytelling techniques, or a practical demonstration of body language skills, video can complement the written content and provide a more rounded learning experience.

Showcasing Real-World Examples

As a coach specialising in presentation and communication skills, I know the value of real-world examples and demonstrations. Video allows you to see techniques in action, including interviews with people in the coaching world. The possibilities are endless, and I believe this could be a fantastic way to enrich the content you receive.

Your Opinion Matters

But here's the thing: I'm not just doing this because I think video might be a good idea (even though I believe it is)! I'm doing it because I want to ensure the content I produce serves you best. Your feedback is crucial in helping me decide the best way forward. After all, this blog and newsletter are for you, and I want to ensure they continue to provide value, insight, and practical tips that you can apply in your life and work.

So, I want to ask: Would you like to see more video content in my blog and newsletters?

...and, if so, what types of video would be most helpful?

Here are a few ideas I've been considering:

  • Quick Tips and Tricks: Short videos to provide actionable advice you can implement immediately.
  • In-Depth Tutorials: Longer videos that deep-dive into specific topics like crafting your message, engaging an audience, or managing stage fright.
  • Interviews: Real-life examples of how other coaches have built and managed their coaching business.
  • Q&A Sessions: Answering your questions directly and offering tailored advice based on your needs.

I'm excited about the possibility of reintroducing video to this blog and newsletter, but more than anything, I'm committed to providing the content that helps you most. Whether through blog posts, newsletters, or videos, I aim to continue supporting you in becoming a more confident and effective communicator and building the most successful coaching business you can.

Thank you for being a part of this community. Your support and feedback mean the world to me, and I look forward to reading your thoughts.
