How To Be Politically Correct Live and On Video
May 15, 2019Do you worry about saying the wrong thing and not being politically correct when you speak live or to camera, and if so, how you doing with that?
I’ve heard so many speakers and YouTube channel owners position themselves on either extreme of this area; those that nervously suck almost all of their spontaneity, fun and life out of what they say...and others that seem to go all out irrespective of how their content might land with their audience.
As a professional speaker, trainer and coach, not finding the right balance can result in lost bookings and negative feedback online (never a great idea for online marketers).
So, how do you find the right way for you to...
#1. Be completely yourself, with a point of view and message your audience/viewer/client responds to every time.
#2. Be able to deliver your content, stories and solutions in a way that is engaging, provocative, and respectful.
In this video I offer 3 ideas to consider when putting your content together, and which I follow myself when designing talks, training and videos.
Question of the day!! What top tips do you have that help set you up to success (and feel more confident) with you need to speak up, deliver a presentation or just get you voice heard more in a meeting?
Leave you ideas in the comments box below.
