Social Media Marketing Overwhelm?
Oct 03, 2018If you've got social media marketing overwhelm, today's video is for you.
But first, take a step back. It's important to take a moment to remember or decide what you use social media in your coaching, training or speaker (or online business) for.
Is it to engage with an audience? Find your tribe? Develop products or services? Sign more clients? Build your niche? Make more money? Getting really clear on what it is now will help.
Next, I'm going to suggest a very simple 6-step process to help you take back control and leave overwhelm behind.
You in?
Good, let's jump into it then.
- For the next 30-days choose to use only one platform for your social media marketing. However many platforms you currently use, for the next 30 day's just choose one.
- Choose one objective; the one thing that you want to achieve by being on that platform over the next 30 days. For example, you could aim to increase subscribers, likes, or followers - but just chose one.
- Post 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, so you'll be sharing 20 posts, so I want you to make a list of what those 20 posts could be.
- Options: They can be written posts, pictures, infographics, top tips, how to's, motivational quotes, Facebook or YouTube 'live' or pre-recorded videos. Once you have a list, your online social media marketing will become so much easier and less stressful.
- Decide whether you'll post 'live' each day, or whether you prefer to schedule your posts at the beginning of each week.
- Make an offer every couple of days, for example send send people to your landing page and your free signup gift ( pdf, ebook, online course, strategy call etc, so that they sign up to your mailing list.
So, there you have a simple 5-step strategy to get out of overwhelm and take back control of your social media marketing - let me know how it works for you!
