Using Your Environment (Even When It's 4 Below Zero)!
Mar 01, 2018"Where can I film my videos if I don't have a studio?" is a question I hear regularly from clients and people who watch my videos.
The answer I suggest to them is; "use your environment."
Which is why this morning I decided to film the video in my local park in North London, a place I've shot many video's before, though usually when it's been warmer.
Today however, was -4 degrees and snowing!
But that's the thing; I'm using my environment. It doesn't usually snow in London, so when it does...what an opportunity ti shoot a video!!
So, think about your environment. It could be your home - even different angles or areas of the same room, your office, a coffee shop, restaurant, the street...and of course your local park (even when it's snowing)!
In fact, if you've watched my video's for a few years, you might remember one of my favourite locations was whilst walking along a beach in Koh Samui in Thailand - the gentle surf, friendly people waving and saying 'hi', and of course the nice warm weather...what an incredible environment to shoot a video blog update!
And today, an equally magnificent winter's day in North London.
So, how many different environments can you think of to include in your videos. Copy me in and let me know where you find.
