Why You Need To Believe In You Before A Client Will
Sep 18, 2019Question; if you don’t believe in you and your ability, skill and expertise you bring to your business, how can you expect future potential clients to believe in you?
I know there are occasionally exceptions, but for the most part the importance of believing in yourself and your ability to make a difference can oftentimes be a defining factor in the reason a new client choses to work with you.
That's why in today's video I share 5 top tips for you to make sure your confidence is in the right place, and you believe in you first!
The 'Why You Need To Believe In You Before A Client Will' Top Tips
Top Tip #1: Do a 'confidence in you' audit! Become aware where your confidence is right now, on a scale of 1-10 (10 is high, 1 isn't!). It's easier to make a difference if you know where you're starting from.
Top Tip #2: Ask yourself how you are investing in you right now, in terms of up-skilling, expertise, and also your soul.
Top Tip #3: Embrace your vulnerability, rather than trying (and failing) to look in control and bulletproof. Your clients know the difference. Be you, be real, and show the whole of who you are, rather than a version of who you’d like to be.
Top Tip #4: Decide how else you can top up the tank with regard to build up your sense of feeling confident. Do things, be with people, and live your life in a way that brings the joy, rather than the stress.
Top Tip #5: Get physical. Coaching, speaking, consulting can be sedentary…but they don’t have to be. Live a more vibrantly - working out, concerts, comedy, social groups…and occasionally think 'outside the box' with how you serve your clients!
